RYNDERMAN LAW was founded on the belief that effective legal representation begins with genuine respect for the people behind each matter. We understand that facing criminal charges is one of life’s most challenging experiences — and we provide clear, accurate advice every step of the way.

Drawing on years of experience across Queensland’s criminal justice system, we offer strategic, considered defence with a focus on clarity, compassion, and outcomes. We understand that your matter is unique. We take the time to listen, explain your options, and advocate fearlessly on your behalf — always with your wellbeing front of mind.

At RL, you’re not a case file. You’re a person who deserves to be heard, respected, and defended with skill and integrity.

DIRECTOR AND PRINCIPAL

BEN RYNDERMAN is the Director and Principal Lawyer of Rynderman Law and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2015.

With a decade of legal experience across the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts throughout Queensland, he has developed a particular interest in the intersection of mental health and criminal law. His areas of expertise incorporate violent crime, drug and sexual offending, domestic violence, and traffic law.

Ben’s early legal career was shaped by the guidance of brilliant mentors that firmly established his commitment to the solicitor’s role. He recognises the inherent fallibility of the legal system and is steadfast in his belief that it must be held to account, and must evolve in line with contemporary moral standards. Ben is dedicated to playing an active role in this ongoing process.

With a unique, creative, and people-focussed approach, Ben prides himself on his ability to understand the needs and priorities of his clients, and is unwavering in his determination to achieve the best possible result for every single one.

LAW CLERK

NICOLE CHEE is a Law Clerk at Rynderman Law and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws/Criminology and Justice. She was the 2024 recipient of the Justin Crosby Memorial Law Award and holds an Honours degree in Applied Science. Chee is also a published academic.

Before beginning her legal career, Chee spent nearly a decade entangled in the criminal justice system—close to five years incarcerated and the remainder under community supervision. As a person in long-term recovery, she brings invaluable lived experience to her legal work and is deeply committed to using that perspective to advocate for meaningful reform and improved outcomes for people impacted by the criminal legal system. In 2025, Chee travelled to the United Nations in Vienna, Austria, as a member of a panel speaking on “Education Not Incarceration.” She currently serves as the Australian National Chapter Lead for the Global Freedom Scholars, a project of the Incarceration Nations Network—a global organisation advancing innovative, human-centred approaches to justice reform, with a focus on access to education and post-release support for incarcerated learners.
