I have concerns for the safety of my family and I’m considering a Domestic Violence Order.
What do I do?

If you are in immediate danger, don’t wait. Call the police.

But if you need advice about your rights, about how the courts can help, or what options are available to you, then working with a solicitor that knows the law is incredibly important. When it comes to the safety of your family, knowledge and experience matter—and so does having someone that will fight for you.

Getting your application right the first time, with the protection and conditions you need, is vital. It might make the difference between a process that takes months, leaving you with nothing, and a process that gets you what you need quickly with less turmoil.
